The cats in our backyard

We have a couple of young cats which live in the backyard of our house. They often roam around the neighbourhood but at meal-times, they unfailingly make a visit. Since we have a rat problem in the scullery near the wash area, they're quite useful at nights keeping those creatures at bay.

The black one Brown cat

This black one is quite camera-shy, but I managed a snap from a distance. The brown cat is slightly bigger and not at all averse to the camera. In fact, she even posed when I brought out the camera!

Both together

And here's one of both together.

  2. They're around only for some time now. We didn't know of these cats earlier because they didn't come into our side of the wall.

  5. Isn't there some sort of a rule that all pictures of cats on the internet have to be "lol cats". These ones should be saying someting like, "eyem staring depe in yer sole".

  6. If the Papa Hari Foundation did not approve of that rule, it doesn't exist. :)

  8. Yes. After a while they have become more familiar with us.

  9. There must be 10-20 cats roaming around the compound I live in. A couple look just like those and I think they're all related. Nobody feeds them and they're nobody's pet -- just strays. Amazingly, they're not completely wild.

  10. RT, there are other bigger cats which roam around the area, but they are toms (I think) and are quite huge. These young ones are often afraid of those big bullies and we make sure those don't get into our side of the wall.

  11. I have two cats. Anyone want them? One is fat and lazy, the other one is schizo and will only come around me or my wife. Kind of like having a feral cat that hides under the bed until night time, then it wants some loving but it will turn on you, hiss and run off if you rub her the wrong way.

They both like to puke. They puke out of spite if their food dish is low on food but not completely empty. They'll also puke cause they drink their water way too fast.

They're lazy, sleep, eat and crap is all they're good at. So does anyone want them? Just don't tell my wife.. ;)
