Database error and recovery

A corruption appears to have occurred on the database in this blog. I had to recover the database from an older backup and as a result, a few recent blog posts and comments have gone. :(

I should have backed up the latest version of the blog database before, but somehow I had missed that in the recent months. Don't you hate it when that happens!!

Too bad. In any event, I am glad that it was no worse!
