Kenan and Kel

Kenan and Kel is a wacky, riotous slapstick comedy series starring Kenan Thompson (as Kenan Rockmore) and Kel Mitchell (as Kel Kimbel). This show always involves Kenan and Kel's antics and ends with their getting into trouble with their crazy schemes. Kenan is the "smarter" one - always plotting and planning, while Kel is the reluctant partner in his ideas. Kel also ends up irritating Kenan's dad and generally gets in the way, bumbling and floundering around with the simplest of tasks. He appears to be stupid in most things, but in fact he proves himself to be quite sensible whenever he predicts that Kenan's plans will end up in failure.

Every episode is different and is never really boring, but the sets always revolve around either Kenan's job at the grocery store owned by Chris Potter (played by Dan Frischman) or at his home and occasionally at his school. As one would expect, it's a good old fashioned comedy with absolutely no vulgar or obscene gimmicks and is entirely suitable for children.

All in all, I would say Kenan is Kel is worth your while if you enjoy slapstick humour - particularly the "Laurel and Hardy" kind. It's simple, unsophisticated and makes you laugh. Which is more than what can be said of today's television programming.
