Here's my next Geeky and Meeky episode, entitled, quite appropriately "Change of Format." ;)

Geeky and Meeky - Change of Format

I downloaded a few free Comic-style fonts from Blambot. Would like some feedback from you as well regarding the changes.

My sincere thanks to John Leach who creates the webcomic Everybody Loves Eric Raymond for responding to my e-mail query regarding the software he uses to put it all together.

Oh and a very happy Deepavali to all my friends. :D

  2. this not only got a smile, but a good chuckle as well. :)

the new formatting looks a bit smoother than the gimp stuff- and while the art is the medium for the "message" - it doesn't distract but rather enhances now.

  3. Thanks Drew.

TG, thanks. KolourPaint is a more "drawing" oriented tool than GIMP. It's not exactly as stripped down as MS-Paint, but it's better than GIMP when it comes to pure pixellated (as oppposed to vector) drawing.

  4. New format is slightly better than the previous one...I usually read only text..Image layout, etc wont make much difference to me...

  5. Shrinidhi, I put a lot of effort into the images as well. Sometimes more... sometimes less. In future, I also plan to incorporate humour into the images.
