I downloaded a few free Comic-style fonts from Blambot. Would like some feedback from you as well regarding the changes.
My sincere thanks to John Leach who creates the webcomic Everybody Loves Eric Raymond for responding to my e-mail query regarding the software he uses to put it all together.

the new formatting looks a bit smoother than the gimp stuff- and while the art is the medium for the "message" - it doesn't distract but rather enhances now.

TG, thanks. KolourPaint is a more "drawing" oriented tool than GIMP. It's not exactly as stripped down as MS-Paint, but it's better than GIMP when it comes to pure pixellated (as oppposed to vector) drawing.
