A fresh look for 2012

Another year, another sitewide theme change. In fact, I've lost count of the number of looks this blog has sported since its hallowed inception in 2005 :-P. I like the plainer and cleaner format and the Serif font style as a change, but of course your mileage may vary.

As always, I invite readers to submit feedback and suggestions on the new theme via the comments section.

  1. Definitely looks cleaner! I'm not a fan of the default HTML blue for links, but it's good to see a little bit of cleaning up and that you've been busy :)

    Looking around your design, I'm curious as to why there is a link to validate xhtml or admin your site. Surely your visitors don't do that all the time!

  2. Hi Dion, I considered that blue links were pleasanter in this colour scheme. But of course I could have used some other link colour as well without too much conflict as the greys are neutral.

    As for validate XHTML link and the admin link, I think I should remove them. I only use that for convenience and I think that they are not really necessarily, now I come to think of it. I added those links at the time I was coding my blog system and didn't bother to remove it later.
