A review of Hari's Corner

I got Hari's Corner reviewed by my good friend, RT Cunningham at Untwisted Vortex. I requested the review because it's always interesting to get a different perspective of my writings and because I respect RT's insights.

If you want your blog to get reviewed, just ask RT by either commenting on his blog or by e-mailing him. I think blog reviews are quite interesting because it's hard to assess how readers perceive your writings from comments to individual articles. It's good to have a complete assessment done just to know where one is heading.

My review: this is just what the doctor ordered! Some doses of Linux, with some geeky and meeky cartoons --- no politics, current affairs and personal "my cat pooped today" kind of posts. Oh, and Papa Hari rocks!

Great site but man does it go down a lot.. If anyone encounters this site unaccessible, no worries, I'm hard at work getting the server stable once again.

Drew, your hard work is much appreciated. Thanks a lot for your timely updates once again. I never noticed any downtime this time, but I will keep a look-out for them.

Drew, your small "vacations" are nothing compared to what I've been actually paying for (bought a year at once, you see).

The longest downtime was about 4 hours last Thursday since my monitors for some odd reason never notified me. But in most of the recent cases, the downtime is minimal, but I think it's all in the past now. The server should get that 200 or 300 plus days of uptime now since I hope fixed the possible problem. I'm keeping my fingers crossed so all of Hari's fans don't get interrupted with a error reaching server..

What about Drew's Fan Club Association? Won't they also be anxious to avoid downtimes? :mrgreen:

I could count for 1/2 a reader, as I visit occasionally (but not often enough, I confess).
