2. What! You don't have Unicode installed? :lol:I'm curious, what do you see? A strange script? Or just block characters (junk)? Yeah, this post was to test out my new program: eng2tam. See previous post.

3. Beats me, it's a PHP script called MagpieRSS that I run at my webhost and view through Firefox on Windows - that's a lot of different places that could cause the problem :smile:It renders all the characters as a question mark - no real problem but it looks like a very indecisive post :wink:

4. Yeah, maybe the server you run MagpieRSS on doesn't have unicode enabled. Or maybe your (client) system doesn't have the necessary Unicode fonts installed. I think it's more likely to be the latter case, since Unicode rendering is a client-side issue.

I'm assuming you don't know Tamil, but it wasn't anything fancy at all. :mrgreen: If you do know tamil, I apologize for my assumption.The punch line roughly translates to: "we apologize for the interruption". I'll try and post a full translation, but it's not really worth it and the translation will fall flat. I'd be very grateful if you can post a screenshot of this post from your end because I want to know how well the font has rendered. I noticed some differences (mostly in the way diphthongs are rendered). Tamil combines vowel+consonants into complex characters and it doesn't always combine it properly in all fonts (the consonant and vowel character get separated leading to strange effects).
