As mentioned in my previous post, I'm still working on the Mencoder GUI, but it's now beginning to take shape. I've almost completed it (except for saving and loading profiles and the actual encoding part). All the codec specific/video filter configuration dialog boxes are complete as of now.

Here's a screenshot of the main window. More coming up later. :)

  2. It looks better in Windows, Titanium. :))

Tk is generally ugly because it uses the "Motif" look by default. But I think the latest version of Tk can apply a "style" to display widgets natively on each platform.

By the way, I've also completed the "Save..."/"Load..." profiles using configuration files. Using profiles, you can maintain different sets of configurations.

  5. Wow, Hari. You really have been busy. I haven't seen you around in days.

  6. RT, yes. Apologies for my absence. I just felt I hadn't much to write about of late. I'll remedy that today.

  7. Normally in a situation like this I would bluff my way through a comment. Something like, "I got meme-coded by Canucklehead's GUI, so now I encoding you with a meme." But I don't think that would make any sense at all in this context.
