Blogrolling.com links

I just noticed that some bloggers who link to this blog (thanks to all of them, by the way!) have used blogrolling.com redirection links instead of directly linking to my blog with the main URL.

This delays the loading time by several seconds as blogrolling.com displays ads in a separate frame on top. The linked website is shown in a frame and so loses all the benefits of directly linking, like SEO; but that aspect is less important to me.

I always prefer to be given a direct link if possible. The blogrolling.com ad frame is plain annoying and serves no purpose other than to promote their linking service and advertisers (which frankly speaking only benefits them).

I also want to remind everybody who're still linking to hari.literaryforums.org to change the URL to point to harishankar.org/blog. That's the end of this service announcement. ;-)

Cops and Slobs #1

Well, is this the beginning of a new series? Time will tell.

I've attempted something different this time - drawing and inking was done on paper and I scanned it, cleaned up and added the dialogues. This way I am able to draw more frames in less time. The Black and White format also seems an interesting idea.

I'm going to continue Boxi and Panjo, of course, but if you like this idea, let me know.

A forum added

I've added a forum to this website to improve reader participation and interactivity (hopefully). It'll also be a place to discuss general issues and also the other content on the website. As of now registration is not required to participate, but I recommend registering as it will help keep track of your discussions.

I've started a topic on Boxi and Panjo, with a view to getting more ideas and feedback on the comic as it has evolved now. Please participate and discuss with absolute frankness! I'm very interested in your thoughts.
